Garden of Light
Designed for an artist’s botanical epoxy works

Garden of Light
Commissioned Display Design for Epoxy Cast Artworks
This project was created in collaboration with an artist whose work explores the tension between the natural and the artificial. Her delicate botanical compositions are encapsulated in glowing epoxy spheres, resembling crystal balls.
To present them as a luminous garden, I designed custom floral-shaped stands that cradle each sphere. Each stand contains an internal LED that lights the cast from below, enhancing its magical appearance. The stands are mounted on 8–10 mm copper gas pipes, anchored to 20x20 cm pine beams.
The flower cups were modeled in Fusion 360, 3D printed, and connected using standard flare nuts—both original and custom-designed to resemble floral forms.
